Frequently Asked Questions

Does this pumper have a current pump test?

All of our pumpers either are current on their pump certification or will be re-certified before released to the customer.

Are there service records available?

Before we market a unit we require the selling department to provide us with all available service records for our review. These records are made available during the inspection and are delivered with the unit.

Is this unit in need of any repairs?

Because we only deal with units still in service for the most part, no. However if anything is identified during inspection it will be taken care of prior to delivery. Are units are both New York State safety inspected and serviced.

Does this unit have a current aerial certification?

Like pumpers, the unit is either currently certified or will be re-certified prior to release. This includes the ground ladders as well. Many of our clients also xray their main sections every 5 years.

Can you train us on how to operate the aerial?

Our demonstrations of these units are done by the selling department personnel, who are trained and experienced with their unit. If necessary, we will ensure training is available for the purchasing department personnel.

Is this unit in service now?

98% of our units are in service and the remaining have just come out of service. We will not represent a unit that has been out of service for over 3 months.

Do you offer shipping?

Yes, we deal exclusively with BEST WAY TRANSPORT in Washington. They are licensed and bonded and we have never had an issue with any truck shipped by them. We will be happy to provide contact information.

Do you offer financing?

We deal exclusively with two financing brokers who only concentrate on loans to municipal fire departments. Many times they were able to secure loans for a department that had been rejected by a bank. They offer very competitive rates.
