Red Truck Sales International, Inc. is a NY based brokerage firm located in Suffolk County NY that specializes in quality used fire apparatus. Since its inception in September 2002, Red Truck Sales has brokered hundreds of pieces of fire apparatus, one client at a time. It has been, and always will be our motto to provide the very best personalized service to each one of our clients. We personally inspect every truck that we sell and have very high standards that must be met before we list a truck on our site. This past year (2009) produced significant growth for Red Trucks with the merger of our affiliate company Help-U-Sell-Fire-Trucks located in Connecticut that's run by its president, Chief John Walsh. During this past year we also brought on- board four sales representatives that cover our NE and SE regions. MEET THE TEAM

Red Truck Sales International, Inc. is owned and operated by Michael G. Shaughnessy a licensed NY State Dealer, and Joseph E. Bartlett an Ex-Captain of Rescue. Together they have brokered more than 400 pieces of apparatus during the companies inception in September 2002. Together they bring a wealth of knowledge and level of service that has earned them Power Broker status on their eBAY store.

Michael G. Shaughnessy – one of the co-owners Michael has been a NY State licensed dealer for over 20 years and is well versed in laws with respect to dealer transactions. Michael has transacted hundreds of vehicles in addition to fire apparatus. He is experienced in the legal processes pertaining to selling and shipping apparatus nationally and internationally. Michael is also very knowledgeable with Fire Department procedures pertaining to the sale of apparatus.

Joseph E. Bartlett – the other half of the ownership team Joe has been a firefighter for over 40 years. He served six years as an officer in the Rescue squad and is an Ex-Captain. He is experienced in FD procedures pertaining to the design and building of new rescue apparatus. Joe is also quite knowledgeable with the operations of a Fire Department as well as both the Chiefs and Commissioners office. He brings strong marketing skills to Red Trucks which has helped to provide the company with name recognition nationally.

Jerry Ericksen - has been a resident of Florida since 1968, and comes from a family with years of working with equipment from small apparatus to very large trucks. His personal attention allows him to focus on the issues facing the industry today provides prompt and professional service to its clients and looks forward to a long relationship.

Captain Todd Bedard - not only is Todd an Ex-Chief he is currently the Rescue Captain for Derby Line Fire Dept. He has over 30 years experience in the fire service and has held almost every position in the department. Todd's vast knowledge of the fire service will help provide him that level of service his clients demand come to expect. Red Trucks is honored to have Todd on their staff.

Chief John Walsh - Chief Walsh has been a firefighter since 1954, and was appointed Chief of the Willimantic Fire Department in December 1983 where he held the post until his retirement in July of 2005. Chief Walsh’s fifty-five years of experience makes him well qualified to assist departments in their efforts to either secure, or sell their apparatus.
